Wilderness First Aid

WFA is the perfect course for the outdoor enthusiast who wants a basic level of first aid training for remote trips when access to medical help can be delayed. First developed by SOLO Wilderness Medicine School in 1976, WFA is a 16-hour course that focuses on the entry-level skills of: response and assessment, musculoskeletal injuries, environmental emergencies, soft tissue injuries, and medical emergencies. The WFA curriculum focuses on real life examples and blends classroom learning with hands-on scenarios. Upon completion, students will receive a SOLO certification card, good for 2 years.
- When? Saturday and Sunday, March 11 & 12; 9:00am to 5:30pm each day
- Where? Camp Butterworth, Maineville, OH
