Pura Vida!! At last, a return to Costa Rica!

by | Jun 10, 2022 | Backpacking

It feels like we’ve been waiting AGES for this! After a 2 year hiatus, we’re heading back to the Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica, between January 1 – February 11, 2023!

Leave everything behind except your hiking gear, binoculars, bathing suit and whatever else you can squeeze into your small, 30# carry-on, and join us in paradise for the trip of a lifetime! The Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica was dubbed “The most bio-intense place on the planet” by National Geographic due to the saturation of wildlife in this tiny isthmus of North and South America. Fall asleep to the night songs of the rain forest… wake to the call of howler monkeys gathering their troops to start the day… spend each day viewing wildlife and exploring the Osa by boat, zipline, horseback, kayak, and on foot.

We’ll be offering 3 trip itineraries with 3 different levels of adventure challenge. You can expect all of them to take you off the beaten path and to take your breath away.

Exact dates, costs, and itineraries are still being determined. If you are interested and want to help shape an itinerary that is right for you, we have a survey tool to help. If you have 5 minutes, you can weigh-in on which trip components you’d most like to see. Hurry though… plans are forming now! The survey is found here.
