by | Aug 8, 2022 | Backpacking

Join us August 25th, 6:30pm at Roads Rivers and Trails for a presentation on the Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica and further details about 2023 trips: https://fb.me/e/2ym1TJW9B

The Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica was dubbed “The most bio-intense place on the planet,” by National Geographic due to the density of wildlife found here. It is also one of the original “Blue Zones”, i.e. happy and healthy.  Adventurers visiting the Osa can expect to see abundant wildlife and lush landscapes and can also expect to be thoroughly charmed by the warmth of local residents who are ranked among the happiest and healthiest people in the world.

Ojo del Mar Quarters

January 30 – February 13, 2023: Explore Corcovado Parque Nacional!

For those seeking high adventure, how about this: A sea turtle sanctuary, an ecolodge that can only be reached on foot, a rugged 10-mile hike to the middle of the Corcovado National Park for four days of guided wildlife viewing, snorkeling a marine sanctuary, kayaking the mangrove forest, a dolphin watch tour and more… For those who are up to the challenge, this could be the trip of a lifetime. More information coming in August.
