Catching a Costa Rican sunset to carry in my heart until I return next year…
Wow! This trip has been one for the record books! After a 3-year hiatus due to the pandemic, returning to the Osa Peninsula has given me a much-needed mega dose of Tree Aura (and Pura Vida).
Right now I am sitting at the San Jose airport waiting for a flight to MIA while scrolling thru pics…. I have so much blog, FB, Insta and website material! Look for those posts in the coming days and weeks. But right now I’m just sort of basking in the Pura Vida clinging to me… The experiences of the past six weeks, the camaraderie, and the indescribable feeling of being immersed in this beautiful, unspoiled, natural world in all its beauty and brutality, gentleness and harshness, extremes and balance, have filled me in ways I can’t describe. Tree aura off the Richter’s scale. I feel like I’m in a sort of bubble—separate from the other passengers milling around. As if I am wrapped in that tree aura, somehow cocooned from the “ordinary” surrounding me.
I think that maybe, saying Adios to the Osa without that cocoon would leave me bleeding…
